INFOGARE

INFOGARE Passenger Information Service

Real-time Passenger Information Management System

INFOGARE was developed for the SNCF (French Railways) in the Paris area to display real-time information about train times, both in normal and disrupted traffic conditions.
SORIDIS was involved from the design stage to system deployment.
The first systems were installed in 1995.
SORIDIS is in charge of hardware and software maintenance under stringent system availability conditions.

INFOGARE has become the reference in terms of Passenger Information Services for the public transport organizing authority in the Paris region (STIF).

To date, INFOGARE is used to control over 4,000 display units in over 400 stations.
INFOGARE tracks and updates train times under normal and disrupted traffic conditions for over 5,700 trains/day and provides the information to some 2,500,000 passengers/day.
